Stram Law has extensive knowledge in a wide range of employment and human resources related matters.  Stram Law provides advice, document drafting and review, policy and procedure creation and implementation, as well as employee training and management services.

We work with clients at all phases of the employment relationship from pre-employment inquires and development of job descriptions to individual terminations and workforce reductions.  We help employers develop long-term strategies and best practices to reduce business and legal risks.  Specific work includes:

    • Employment contracts. We draft and negotiate employment and consultant contracts, including confidentiality and non-competition agreements, developments/ownership agreements, severance agreements and executive employment and separation agreements.
    • Company documents.  We draft employee manuals, acceptable use policies, background check waivers forms, insider trading policies.
    • Employee training.  Includes new employee orientations, sexual harassment seminars, personnel policies, employee disciplinary issues, etc.
    • Employment advice.  On matters such as wage and hour classifications and compliance, workforce reductions, employee leaves of absence and disability accommodations, workplace investigations,  hiring practices, disciplinary actions and employee terminations, affirmative action plans and requirements, safety and health matters.
